Puerto Escondido, Day 1-4 26/09/2009
On Wednesday I arrived in Mexico safely with Shea Sevilla and Jacob Romero. Our new home for the next 3 weeks will be at hotel Aqua Luna. The surf has been small, but there is supposed to be a swell coming to town in the next couple days. Boys have been jamming at the main break in front of our hotel called Zicatela. I haven’t seen Kiril since he left CAli a couple months ago, so I’m glad he is here staying as well. We went to this little shack down the street for lunch and had taquitos and smoothies, soooo good! Since I'm trying to keep on a tight budget, I've been making meals as much as I can. Food consists of veggies, bananas, bread, pasta and eggs. Yum... Jacob is a good cook indeed. yeeeooow! Cruising downtown for groceries with Shea and Jacob. Photo: Shea Sevilla Jacob making magic in the kitchen... Photo: Shea Sevilla Yesterday I went to this secluded beach with Simon, Shona and Sam. It was so gorgeous, even when it started pissing down rain! It reminded me of the beach from the movie, "The Beach." Fun times for sure! Today I cruised with Jacob, Shea and Kiril to Punta Colorado. The waves were fun and I snapped a few shots of da boys…Jacob jammin, Kiril tubing, Jacob crusing, Shea spinning. Jeremy Wright and Chad partying...yeeeooow! Hi. Welcome to my first blog to my new website blog. I have missed creative writing-- which I studied during my college years. I have been working on my photography for awhile now and I'm currently working on a few things, which is giving me the opportunity to travel more. Regarding this blog though, I am planning on adding my thoughts, ideas and artwork. Feel free to comment, critique my work or just say hi. I'm excited to start this new form of creativity. "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change." ~Wayne Dyer ![]() I was in NY and NJ a week ago, working at the USBA comp at Jenks and visiting family in NY. "Wicked" and "Cab" times were had! Great memories and new friends were the constant theme. Besides the comp, Matt Withaar and Jason Bitzer and me went to see Wolfmother & The Killers, best $20 i've spent on a show. ![]() the USBA Crew... I made some great new friends that I will see plenty of in the coming year! Yeowwww! |
