Dad & I in April '04
March 3rd is my Dad's birthday. Today would have been my Dad's 56th birthday. For those of you who don't know, my Dad passed away from ALS, otherwise known as Lou Gehrig's Disease in June 2004. I still can't believe he is gone physically. I know that his spirit will forever live, and I feel his presence often. I went to visit him today, I had lunch with him. Right when I got to his home on the hill, the sun came out behind the clouds. It was a beautiful lunch.

Dad & I the day of diagnosis, June '02
My Dad was my hero, he was so strong, especially through his illness. On a happier note though he was amazing. His heart was so HUGE! He was always helping people. I was Daddy's Little Girl. I miss him every moment everyday. His spirit lives on inside of me. My Dad taught me so much, and he is still teaching me things. Today I want to honor my Dad for being the wonderful Father he was and is in spirit. I know my Dad is watching over me, his smile is always so big. I miss you Dad forever and always.                              Daddy, Happy Birthday! xxoo

Happy New Year! 06/01/2010

It's crazy to me that we are now in a new decade, time certainly flies fast! It was 10 years ago that I graduated high school, so nuts! Anyway, I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and fun New Years celebration!

I spent Christmas Eve with my neighbor's across the street, along with my Mom and brothers. It's a tradition to be the only Jews at their party, makes for a good time! We had a white elephant gift exchange. I always seem to get the last number and the best present. This year I chose 2 key chains, one being a moose that shat's out poop candy and the other key chain was a breathalizer, so good! I will see if it actually works the next time I drink heavily. Yeeew! Chrissy is always so much fun, I was totally tipsy and enjoyed singing Chrissy carols this year! Fun times for sure, must've been because I don't remember most of the night!

Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul...

I spent the holidays with my family mostly, because my family was in town from New York. Hanukkah was celebrated at my house and our tradition continued with our white elephant gift exchange. (Pictures are coming) I got the last number once again and the best gift, a box of See's Candies, which I will be sharing with someone special! New Years I spent with family for dinner and went to a hookah bar later in the evening. Had a good time and so happy it's the new year!

WAVES!!!

The new year charm brought us some decent swell at the local beaches! I had an epic day at the beach last weekend! Silver Strand was going off! Below are some photos, but the rest of them can be found in my Portfolio tab, under WAVES. Enjoy!

NEVER GIVE UP, Help raise funds to find a cure for ALS!

The new year has so far started out perfect already, but I am stoked to share with you all something very close to my hear! For those of you who don't know me well, when I was in college I started a company to help raise funds for a cure for Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS). My father passed away from this horrible disease in 2004, and struggled with his battle for 2 years. Anyway since it's a new beginning to a new decade, I decided I needed to revamp my website, so check it out! My Never Give Up Organization website is looking slick, as is my new NEVER GIVE UP campaign that I just launched as well. Thank you to Shaka Laka for making this happen! Please read my News Press Release below and support a great cause!
