BIO
Michelle is a typical Southern California girl, with a love for the ocean and photography. She took on bodyboarding at age 10, learned the art of photography in high school, which then led her to her passion – surf and beach lifestyle photography. Michelle graduated from San Jose State University and earned a BA in Creative Arts and 5 years of Division One water polo as a goalie. Upon graduation she returned to her home-away-from-home – Westward Beach.
Michelle not only contributes her time to photography, but she is also a writer and photographer for 71 Magazine, is the Media Coordinator for United States Bodyboarding Association, and is a Massage Therapist. With her water woman skills, athleticism, and creative vision she is a great photographer, thinker and writer in the beach lifestyle industry. When not taking photos, Michelle is hiking, doing yoga, bodyboarding, swimming, sailing and writing. She currently resides in Agoura Hills, CA.
